Productivity tips, despite their good intentions, have a toxic effect on me. I always watch productivity tips videos, such as from Ali Abdaal, Matt D’Avella and others. When I don’t follow the tips, I feel I am a loser and weaker than everyone else, which makes me feel frustrated with myself. When I follow the tips, it leads to empty productivity, which leads to frustration. Despite their good intentions, productivity tips have a dark side.
