Regions Bank on Monday announced the launch of a multi-faceted approach toward helping consumers build financial confidence. The focus kicks off during Financial Literacy Month in April with free online Regions Next Step® seminars, in-person events at branches, and opportunities for people to receive free, personalized guidance in setting and tracking their financial goals through Regions’ Greenprint® experience.
It’s an effort that’s rooted in a back-to-basics approach to helping people be more financially informed and confident. But it’s also one that’s rooted in some interesting realities when it comes to financial confidence.
According to the J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Retail Banking Advice Satisfaction Study, 59% of respondents expected banks to improve their financial health but nearly two-thirds (62%) couldn’t remember receiving any financial advice from their bank over the past year.
