Prominent Vermont female leaders react to Emma Mulvaney-Stanak’s historic win [Video]

Tuesday night, Progressive Emma-Mulvaney-Stanak made history in the Queen City.She won the Burlington mayoral race, becoming the first-ever female and openly queer mayor-elect.Mulvaney-Stanak slightly beat out Democrat Joan Shannon, getting a little more than 50% of the vote on Town Meeting Day.Less than 24 hours later, prominent female leaders across the state are reacting to her win.
