Momentum: Minority and Women-Owned Business Mentorship Program [Video]

In 2023, the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce stepped into a new leadership role designed to provide minority and women-owned businesses with a path to Membership and access to mentorship. The program called “Momentum” combines business, diversity and inclusion into a focused, insightful and inspiring year-long program.

As you’re about to see, this new program fills what the Chamber believed was a gap in services in Saginaw County. You’ll also see how the first-ever group of graduates is putting what they learned into action. Before the program began, two of the three businesses did not have physical locations. Those two businesses have since opened storefronts – in part – thanks to the program.
