How to Connect Google Analytics & Google Search Console with Shopify (2024)

In this Shopify tutorial, I share how to connect Google Analytics 4 and the Google Search Console with Shopify.

The new way to set up Google Analytics 4 with Shopify is by using an app. Two years ago you had to embed the GA4 code into the liquid theme on your website (a little complicated).

However, you still need to do this when connecting the Google Search Console.

Google Search Console allows you to understand how your website us performing on Google Seach. On the other hand, Google Analytics helps you understand and measure your website performance, traffic, events and more across all your different traffic sources.
