A three-day women’s entrepreneur fair has started in Cox’s Bazar under the initiative of the National Women’s Organization. The fair which started on Wednesday afternoon at Shahid Daulat Maidan of Cox’s Bazar Public Library will continue three days.

, Prabash Chandra Roy, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Affairs, was the chief guest at the inauguration of the fair. He said that as a result of various efforts in the government, women are ahead in all fields.

Former Member of Parliament and District Chairman of National Women’s Organization Kaniz Fatema Ahmed, Senior Secretary of Ministry of Women and Child Affairs Fauzia Siddika, Deputy Director of District Women Affairs Directorate Subrata Biswas, Sadar Upazila Vice Chairman Hamida Taher, General Secretary of Cox’s Bazar Press Club and Daily Cox’s Bazar newspaper spoke on the occasion. Managing Editor Mohammad Mujibul Islam, Project Trainer Farida Yasmin.

In the fair, 33 stalls of various subjects including rural handicrafts of women entrepreneurs from different regions of the district were placed. After the meeting, the cake was cut on the occasion of International Women’s Day and various stalls of women entrepreneurs were visited. Representatives of various women’s organizations, journalists and officials of the National Women’s Organization were present in it.
