The inspiration for Adaptive Apparel came during a challenging time in 2021 when Deborah’s stepmother suffered a serious fall, leaving her unable to use her left arm for months due to a broken bone. Struggling to find suitable clothing that could accommodate her stepmother’s cast and sling, Deborah realised there was a gap in the market for practical and comfortable alternatives, so she created her own.
