GREENSBORO, N.C. — “We have too many toys in this house!”

It is a common sentiment often exclaimed in exasperation, by parents and grandparents with young children. To be able to say that phrase is a blessing — but also, perhaps, a curse, as most of those pricey gadgets have short shelf lives. 

Financial literacy author Ja’Net Adams of Debt Sucks University encourages families to think outside of the gift box this holiday season and invest in a gift that keeps giving — that of future education.
