Record numbers apply for Businesswoman of the Year Awards [Video]

The 2024 Businesswoman of the Year Awards have received a record number of applications.

Organiser Network Ireland said it had received almost 460 submissions from members across its branches for the awards, which aim to highlight female entrepreneurs nationwide.

The winners from the 17 local branches will go forward to national level rounds where a panel of business experts will select the over all winners in eight categories:

• Networker of the Year 2024
• Emerging Businesswoman
• Solo Businesswoman 
• Established Businesswoman
• Creative Professional 
• STEM Professional
• Employee – Rising Star
• Employee – Shining Star

The winning businesswomen will be announced at a gala awards ceremony at Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny on 27 September.

The event coincides with the Network Ireland national conference which affords attendees networking opportunities, interactive sessions and focused masterclasses.

The flagship event will include a range of inspirational speakers on topics such as empowering growth, leadership agility and unlocking success strategies.
