Randolph County man arrested, charged with felony assault [Video]

The charges include felony assault by strangulation and assault on a female.

ASHEBORO, N.C. — A 32-year-old man was arrested in Asheboro on Saturday and charged with multiple felonies after deputies said he assaulted a woman, according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a home on Buffalo Ford Road on Saturday in reference to a fight in progress. The Sheriff’s Office said that when they arrived on scene, they detained Brady Galarza and located a victim inside the residence with “visible injuries.”

After an initial investigation, deputies arrested Galarza and he was later charged with felony assault by strangulation, felony breaking and entering with intent to terrorize, felony assault on a female, misdemeanor injury to real property and misdemeanor interfering with emergency communications.
