Glendale students create cider stand to raise money for people in need [Video]

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Halloween is this week, and the weather is cooling off. It’s the perfect time of year for some delicious cider.

Students at New Gains Academy in Glendale created their very own cider stand. The students are doing Something Good by raising money to help around 25 people who are experiencing homelessness and other hardships.

The school says this event helps kids learn about math and financial literacy. But more importantly, it helps teach them lessons about helping others.

Thank you to all of these incredible kids for their good deed ahead of the holidays.
