First-Plymouth Church will be featuring a four-week sermon series at the church this November called “Her Spirit: Women leaders, the obstacles they overcame, and the future they have helped forge. The series begins with guest speaker Ava Thomas, President, Lee Enterprises Midwest Region & President, Lincoln Journal Star, atFirst-Plymouth Church at 20th and D Streets on Sunday, November 3 at the 11:59am worship service. The series continues Sunday, November 10, 11:59am, with Rev. Katherine Willis Pershey, Pastor at First Congregational UCC, Appleton, Wisconsin; Sunday, November 17, 11:59am with Senator Anna Wishart, Nebraska Legislature; and on Sunday, November 24, 11:59am with Abbi Swatsworth, Executive Director at OutNebraska.
