The objectives of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) are to inspire, engage, mentor and connect people through entrepreneurship. These objectives mirror the BEDC’s own strategic goals, and it has been with great pleasure that we have acted as lead coordinator for GEW for over 10 years.

Under BEDC’s leadership, the annual initiative continues to grow in participation and in impact. Hundreds of businesses have been created because of catalysing events that have been held in celebration of this global initiative. As a testament to this accomplishment, Bermuda has won five Champion Catalyzer awards at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in recognition of its achievements regarding community and entrepreneurial engagement.
