ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) β On June 13, city and community leaders came together to celebrate the 7th cohort of graduates from the Star City Safe Apprenticeship program!
On Thursday, students from William Fleming and Patrick Henry High School walked across the stage at the Berglund Center. Over the last several weeks, students learned about life skills, financial literacy, college applications, and more. Most importantly, students were preparing for the next steps in their lives as young adults.
Jeffrey Powell, Director of General Services says seeing the students grow over the last several weeks has been rewarding.
