RAPID CITY, S.D. – Stacey Denke spent 20 years working long hours in ‘Corporate America.’ Through the advice of a mentor, she reevaluated how she was spending her time.
“He had asked me, ‘Stacey, if you are spending that many hours working…why aren’t you building something for yourself?'”
Stacey has long had a passion for women’s fashion and, as someone in the corporate world, had felt there was a lack of women’s ‘business casual’ options in the Rapid City area.
“At the end of the day, as a professional female, there was nowhere to shop in this town. So, I’d always have to go to Fort Collins or Sioux Falls for a shopping trip.”
