SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – Springfield Technical Community College hosted an International Woman’s Day celebration on Wednesday.

The event put a spotlight on the achievements of women, fostering a sense of unity, support, and empowerment within the community.

The event featured a panel discussion, networking, leadership awards, and local female-owned businesses as vendors.

Over in West Springfield, the Irish Cultural Center held a traditional Irish Session on Wednesday night. The event featured talented musicians and was an enjoyable event for the whole family, open to the public.

Finally, in Easthampton, a new beauty bar held a ribbon cutting ceremony.
